    ' Hi,How Are You' is Johnston's sixth self-released album, recorded in September It is arguably his most popular album. Johnston claims he almost had a nervous breakdown recording it and calls this his "unfinished album." Wether the breakdown is unfinished he declined to expand upon.

It was released on CD in by Homestead Records and re-released in on a dual-album CD, along with the album Hi, How Are You, by Johnston's own label, Eternal Yip Eye Music.
